Cards and Decks
The days leading up to the Faire and even after it you should constantly be checking the ah for cheap cards. Many people will make a few cards and then realize how random it is and give up. These people will post the few cards that they made onto the ah for a low price in order to get out of the card making business. You should buy their cards up and either post them again at a greater price or you could use them to make a deck for a low cost.
During the week of the Faire itself, you should be checking the price of the decks versus the trinkets. Sometimes you may find the decks to be a few thousand cheaper than the trinkets which allows you to easily flip them for a decent profit.
If you feel like being a little bit devious you can during the weeks prior to the Darkmoon Faire buy up all of one card from each type of suit from the ah. This could create a shortage of this card causing your opponents to not be able to create their decks unless they make them randomly. There is a risk in that somebody could make a large amount of these cards and just swamp the market with them but its worth a gamble if you are feeling lucky.
